- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
- José Antonio is a founding partner of Activa Alternative Assets, the private equity fund of Larraín Vial.
- Previously he was the CEO of Viña Santa Carolina, CFO at Watt’s and a director at Larraín Vial Asset Management.

- Civil Mining Engineer from the Universidad de Chile
- Andrés has +30 years of experience in operation, design, and development of mining projects.
- Previously, he worked in the field of mining and environmental consulting, as a partner of NCL S.A and IAL Ltda.
Aníbal LarraínPartnerBoard member
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, Spain
- Aníbal is currently a director at Larraín Vial and Viña Santa Carolina.
- Additionally, he holds the position of Executive Vice President at Watt’s.

- Civil Industrial Engineer and Astronomer from Pontificia Universidad Católica and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
- Previously, he worked as CIO in Banchile’s Asset Management, Revenue Management and Commercial PPM Director in AB Inbev, and Private CIO in Bancard.

- Geologist from the University of Concepción and with studies at the University of British Columbia.
- Martín has +20 years of experience in mining exploration, with a notable participation in the discovery of IOCG deposits.
- Previously, he worked as a Project Geologist at Latin American Copper, discovering the Dominga and Filipina deposits.
Cristián MunchmeyerPartnerBoard member
- Geologist from the University of Concepción.
- Cristián has +20 years of experience in copper exploration, both in greenfield and brownfield. He stands out for his participation in the discovery of IOCG deposits such as: Casualidad, Astillas, Amankay and Virgo.
- Previously, he worked as an Exploration Geologist at Codelco, BHP, AMSA and Minería Peñoles.

Arturo PrietoCEOMinería Activa
- He holds a degree in Civil Mining Engineering from the University of Chile, and MSc in Imperial College, UK.
- Arturo has +10 years of experience in operation, design and development of mining projects. He also stands out for his knowledge in marketing of mining products.
- Previously, He worked as a Project Engineer at CEMIN, BHP, Celta Consultores and Minería Activa.
Eduardo Montes Senior Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
- Eduardo has +10 years of experience on financial markets, having previously worked as Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at EuroAmerica Seguros de Vida.
Felipe GuevaraChief of Engineering
- He holds a degree in Civil Mining Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
- Felipe has +20 years of experience in the design and planification an d administration of mining projects.
Jorge SerranoCFO
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Diego Portales.
- Jorge has +15 years of experience in finance and management in industries such as: aeronautics, automotive, food, industrial and mining.
Bernardita MartínezInvestor Relations
- Bernardita holds a diploma in Strategic Sales Management from the Adolfo Ibáñez University.
- She has +25 years of experience in areas of administration, customer service, and sales.
- Between 2009-2017 she served as the CFO of Minería Activa.
- Previously she worked in Entel PCS and Unilever.

Our company has been for more than 15 years constantly looking for mining projects with potential in different stages of development, ranging from mining properties with no studies to mining operations. We are a partnership between Activa, the private equity arm of Larraín Vial, and a group of managers with valuable experience.
